Bilal provides strategic leadership, entrepreneurial vision. His approach combines commercial discipline with innovation and social impact, building resilient, high-performing organisations that create lasting value for investors, partners and the communities they serve.

Abdul brings more than 28 years’ experience across the UK housing sector, with extensive expertise in housing management, Supported Exempt Accommodation, operational delivery and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Abdul has worked with organisations including Kent County Council, Haringey Council, Enfield Council, Hull City Council, North East Lincolnshire Council, Sandwell Council, Walsall Council, NASS and Clearsprings, giving him a strong understanding of the operational and regulatory requirements behind safe, well-managed housing.

As Director of Profectus Estates, Abdul has spent more than a decade managing residential and Supported Exempt Accommodation. At Beorma, he combines commercial insight with hands-on operational expertise to support responsible growth while ensuring residents receive safe, compliant and professionally managed homes.

James Cross has built an extensive career across housing, health and social care, developing significant expertise in Supported Exempt Accommodation over the past decade.

He has worked extensively with people experiencing homelessness, mental ill health, substance misuse and recovery, displacement and learning disabilities, as well as with registered providers, charities and local authorities. His expertise spans governance, compliance, operational procedures and quality assurance, with a strong focus on accountability and better resident outcomes.

James also brings invaluable lived experience. He understands first-hand the difference that safe housing, compassionate support and high standards can make. This perspective shapes Beorma’s resident-centred approach, ensuring quality is measured not simply through compliance, but through the experience and outcomes of the people it supports.
