Through robust oversight, ethical leadership and rigorous regulatory compliance, we ensure every decision is made with integrity, safeguarding the interests of our residents, partners, commissioners and investors while delivering sustainable, long-term social impact.

Safeguarding: Protecting the people we serve

Designated Safeguarding Lead

A named DSL responsible for all safeguarding matters, available during business hours with out-of-hours escalation.

Staff Training

All staff complete mandatory safeguarding training on induction and every 12 months. DBS checks throughout employment.

Clear Referral Pathways

Safeguarding concerns referred to statutory authorities within required timeframes. Confidential log maintained.

Regulatory Standards: 
RSH Consumer Standards

All four RSH consumer standards met or exceeded:

  • Safety Standard - all statutory health & safety requirements met.

  • Transparency Standard - residents treated with respect, clear information provided.

  • Neighbourhood Standard - community engagement and neighbourhood responsibilities.

  • Tenancy Standard - fair, transparent allocation and clear housing licence process.

LA Licensing

All Beorma properties hold the relevant local authority licence before any resident is placed. Full compliance with Birmingham City Council HMO and SEA licensing requirements.
